Our New Website
After six months of intense development, we are pleased to launch the new Broadway Play Publishing Inc website at www.broadwayplaypublishing.com. Ours is the first “responsive” site in the theatrical publishing and licensing industry, which means that the site has been designed to resize itself according to the screen dimensions of the device you’re using. So whether you’re visiting us on a tablet or a smartphone you should be able to navigate and make purchases the same as if you were on a computer.
Among other innovative features of the site, you'll find the ability to zoom in for close-ups on the books and the convenience of being able to add plays, ePlays, performance-rights applications, artwork, and production materials all into a single cart with a streamlined checkout process. Our new shipping options provide real-time USPS and UPS rates, or you may use your organization’s own UPS shipping account. Options to pay for your purchases and performance licenses now include credit cards, PayPal, bank transfer, or check, and, for our resale and educational customers, a purchase order number. If you already know the titles you’d like, there’s the Quick Order page that will allow you to quickly add plays, ePlays, and collections to your cart and head immediately to checkout.
The Plays page offers a sidebar that will allow you to dynamically filter the list of titles presented to you by the criteria of your choice, whether title, author, genre, cast size, cast gender, or runtime, among others. And on this, our new blog, we’ll keep you posted about new acquisitions and publications, our authors’ activities, and we'll feature guest authors from time to time from the New York theatrical community and beyond.
Finally, as it is with any complex new technology released into the wild, there are likely to be bugs we don’t know about.
