Sara is an NYC/NJ based playwright and theater maker, co-founder of Foxy Films, her theater company with husband, Reid Farrington. MFA from Brooklyn College with Mac Wellman. Recent and upcoming: CASABLANCABOX (commissioned by HARP @ HERE Arts Center, nominated for two 2017 Drama Desk Awards, Unique Theatrical Experience & Outstanding Projection Design.) BRANDOCAPOTE (The Tank 2019), RED QUEENS (InTandem Lab, 2020) COSMICOMICS (The Flea 2020), HONDURAS (AFO SoloCollective, NYC & regional tours), LEISURE, LABOR, LUSTt (Tank, The Mount, Art House), THE RETURN (commissioned/performed at The Metropolitan Museum of Art), NEAR VICKSBURG (Incubator Arts), REQUIEM FOR BLACK MARIE (Incubator, Stella Adler), MICKEY & SAGE (Incubator Arts & regional productions).
