Disappearing Acts

Kim Rosenstock's plays include TIGERS BE STILL, 99 WAYS TO FUCK A SWAN, and BRIDE*WIDOW*HAG. In addition, she conceived and co-wrote the musical FLY BY NIGHT. She is working on a new musical with singer-songwriter Shaina Taub for Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as well as working on commissions for Roundabout Theater, Dallas Theater Center, and Ars Nova, where she was the 2011 playwright-in-residence and a member of the writers group, Play Group. She is a graduate of Amherst College where she first began writing plays under the mentorship of Constance Congdon. She subsequently earned her MFA in playwriting at Yale School of Drama. She is originally from Baldwin, Long Island.

Susan Soon He Stanton's plays include AMERICAN PIG PEN (New Century Theatre Company workshop and Astor Street Oprey New Works Festival), CYGNUS (Inkwell workshop), FURBALL (Second Generation commission), and THE THINGS ARE AGAINST US (Yale's Carlotta Festival and RoAn workshop). Kumu Kahua produced two of her plays in rep, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO JOHN BOY KIHANO? and remounted their production of ART OF PRESERVATION. She was awarded the Hawai'i prize and the Pacific Rim Prize by Kumu Kahua. THE UNDERNEATH, commissioned by Kumu Kahua, originated at the Yale Cabaret, and was workshopped at the Kennedy Center and the Unicorn Theater. Susan was Honolulu Theatre for Youth's (HTY) resident playwright for their 2010 – 11 season. HTY commissioned her to write NAVIGATOR AND WHERE DO THINGS GO? (multi-writer play). EDIBLE RESTAURANT, a musical with composer Greta Gertler (Joe's Pub performance), was a commission from New Sounds Theatre. Susan received a feature-film development grant and best screenplay award from the Sloan Foundation. BFA: NYU Tisch Dramatic Writing. MFA: Yale School of Drama. She is a member of SoHo Rep Writer-Director Lab and a Lark Van Lier Fellow. She is from Honolulu, Hawai'i.

Michael Mitnick's plays include SEX LIVES OF OUR PARENTS (world premiere 2ndStage Uptown), FLY BY NIGHT (Playwrights Horizons 2014; Dallas Theater Center; TheatreWorks), ED, DOWNLOADED (world premiere Denver Center Theatre Company), SPACEBAR: A BROADWAY PLAY BY KYLE SUGARMAN (world premiere City Lights; developed by The Lark and Studio 42), BABS THE DODO (world premiere at Washington Ensemble Theatre), & ELIJAH (world premiere at LOCAL Theatre Company). He is also writing the book for the Broadway bound musical version of the classic film Animal House. He wrote additional lyrics for a stage spectacle of King Kong which is running now in Australia. He wrote the screenplay for the adaptation of the Newbery-winning novel The Giver. Member of Ars Nova and P73 Playgroups. 2012 Visionary Playwright Award. Michael is currently writing commissions for The Roundabout, Manhattan Theatre Club and Theatre Masters in conjunction with The Goodman Theatre. He received his MFA in Playwriting from the Yale School of Drama. He lives in Brooklyn.
