Press Quotes

“The playwright Desi Moreno-Penson belongs to a new generation of theater artists reared on a diet of vampires, zombies and charming serial killers. Call this movement the Theater of Blood, after the Vincent Price movie about a Shakespearean actor who kills critics, after torturing them with a hammy monologue.” —Jason Zinoman, The New York Times

“If you attend GHOST LIGHT you should be looking for ‘a little bit of strange,’ like the play’s two main characters — luckily, neither you nor they get the expected, making way for a tantalizing, utterly absorbing hour … the relationship of Brian and Natalie is a layered, unnerving and accomplished conflict of outlooks, psychological profiles and sexual pull.” —Michael Narkunski, New York Press

“GHOST LIGHT, a cozy little thriller by Desi Moreno-Penson … GHOST LIGHT does achieve genuine spookiness …” —Patricia Newton, Time Out New York
